In the episode Solitary - which is the one where Sayid meets Danielle Rousseaux for the first time... There were a few things that really struck me as odd.
- When Sayid talks about Nadia... he says she's dead and that it's pretty much his fault. I remember back then we didn't know Nadia's fate but then later when we learned that she is alive and well and that Sayid was on his way to go look for her in LA - we were confused why he said she was dead. Now I couldn't but wonder if this stuff happened when he returned to the island with Jack and Kate on the Ajira flight. Maybe when he was off in the jungle he experienced a flash or something? I dunno... but that was weird.
- Danielle mentions that she killed Robert and the others because they "turned/changed" and that if they would get rescued it would be very bad to bring it back with them.
- Also Danielle tells him to really watch his people - that he better play close attention. Then we cut to a scene with Locke. I felt that was really interesting that we are wondering when Locke changed, and meanwhile Danielle is telling Sayid to watch for the changes in his people. Hmmmm... It really seemed like a big hint.
Then in the episode "Raised by another" Wasn't it interesting that Malkin said that what he saw when he was giving Claire her reading,...was blurry???
That blurry was bad...what did he see? Did he see Smokie... I think he saw something like that in Aaron's future.
For now, that's all I have... As you can see, I'm not rehashing everything... just stuff I really didn't notice before or that I think in light of what we know in Season 5 is important.
